Cowboy Beans

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon mccormick hot shot black & red pepper blend

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon in 3-quart saucepan on medium-high heat until crisp. drain fat.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients. bring to a boil. reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
