Low-fat Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 2 (26 ounce) jars low-sugar spaghetti sauce
- 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans black beans
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can light red kidney beans
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chili ready diced tomatoes
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
Recipe
- 1 drain and rinse all the beans.
- 2 in a medium soup pot, brown the beef, drain, and set aside.
- 3 add olive oil to pan; sweat garlic and onion. return beef to pot.
- 4 add remaining ingredients and stir well.
- 5 bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- 6 reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 20-30 minutes.
