Ingredients
- 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup fat-free chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients into a medium saucepan.
- 2 cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until beans are tender and begin to split.
- 3 serve immediately.
