Frozen Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, baked
  • 1 lb silken tofu
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup agave nectar or 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 blend the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  • 2 pour into pie shell.
  • 3 freeze.
  • 4 when ready to eat? thaw for 10 minutes and serve.

Hardy Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 3 pearl onions (chopped) or 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 zucchini, chopped
  • 1 small head broccoli
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (12 ounce) can navy beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 dash sriracha sauce (optional)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a fairly big pot, heat 1 tbs. olive oil on medium. when hot, add onion. cook until slightly clear, add chili pepper and garlic, stir for 1/2 minute.
  • 2 reduce heat to medium-low.
  • 3 add veggies and cook to desired tenderness (i like mine still crisp).
  • 4 add tomato paste and can and a half of water. stir to even consistency.
  • 5 stir in beans.
  • 6 add spices, the rest of the olive oil, and more or less rooster sauce to desired spiciness.
  • 7 pour atop your favorite spaghetti!

Lavender, Lovage And Lime Roast Chicken With Honey

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 small limes or 1 small lemon, finely chopped, pips removed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 1 (2 -3 kg) roasting chickens
  • 4 sprigs lovage or 4 stalks celery & leaves, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lavender flowers
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lavender honey
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • lavender, and lovage sprigs (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 190c, 400f, gas mark 5.
  • 2 combine the lime(lemon), onion and garlic with the butter. stuff half of this under the skin of the chicken, working carefully under the skin of the breast. put the remaining flavoured butter inside the bird, with the chopped lovage (celery stalks/leaves) and the lavender flowers. secure the skin over the neck with a skewer and put the chicken in a roasting tray.
  • 3 combine the olive oil and honey in a pan and heat gently so the honey liquefies. stir, then pour over the chicken. season well.
  • 4 roast for 45 minutes per kg plus 20 minutes, basting every 20 minutes or so.
  • 5 if the chicken seems to be browning too quickly, cover it with foil half way through cooking. to test whether the chicken is cooked, pierce it with a skewer in the thickest part. if the juices run clear, it is cooked. leave to stand, covered with foil, for 20 minutes before carving.
  • 6 garnish with lavender and lovage sprigs.
  • 7 carve at the table and serve with the pan juices, green beans and apple & potato purée.

Fava Bean And Mint Frittata

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups vegetable stock
  • 1 1/2 lbs fava beans
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/3 cup light cream
  • 1 cup sheep cheese
  • 12 mint leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • nutmeg
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 unless your fava beans are small and young, their waxy skin needs to be removed. to do this, bring the stock to a boil in a medium saucepan. drop in the shelled beans and cook for 5 minutes (6 if the beans are frozen). drain and drop into a bowl of ice-cold water to stop the cooking. cut a tiny slit in the outer skin of each bean with your thumbnail, and pinch the skin to slip it off- you will get more dexterous as you go. (the beans can be prepared up to 2 days in advance and refrigerated in an airtight container).
  • 2 preheat the oven to 425 degrees f. grease a 9-inch round cake pan with olive oil and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  • 3 in a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, cheese and mint. season with salt, a few gratings of nutmeg, and a few turns of the pepper mill. add the beans, stir gently to combine, and pour into the prepared cake pan.
  • 4 put into the oven to bake for 25 minutes, until golden and puffy. transfer he pan on a rack to cool for 5 minutes- the top will settle. remove from the pan and serve warm or at room temperature, with a salad of mixed greens. this will keep for up to a day, tightly wrapped and refrigerated.

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb beans, rinsed
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon chicken base
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 6 -8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 7 ounces diced green chilies
  • 4 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 4 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
  • sour cream, to serve
  • chopped green onion, to serve
  • chopped cilantro, to serve
  • chopped tomato, to serve

Recipe

  • 1 put the chicken stock base, broth, and beans in a large pot (i like my crock pot).
  • 2 simmer it for two hours, covered.
  • 3 saute the onions in the oil until they are gently browned.
  • 4 combine the onions with the spices, chicken, and other vegetables, and simmer for another hour or so.
  • 5 add the cheese and sour cream, cooking until the cheese melts in the chili.
  • 6 you might want to serve the chili with more sour cream, green onions, diced tomatoes, salsa, cilantro, or cheese.
  • 7 the recipe serves about four people, but i always double it, because it tastes even better the second day.
  • 8 if you don't use fresh cilantro, you might want to double the amount you use.
  • 9 also, i have found the garlic to be low, but you can tell by my name that i love to cook with garlic.
  • 10 it was also great to substitute some of the chicken broth with beer (preferably mexican), if you add a few shots of tequila for added ummph!

Jamaican Banana Cups

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 large orange
  • 6 medium bananas
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 tablespoons dark rum
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumb
  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons whipping cream (double)
  • 3/4 chopped pecans, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven 400f.
  • 2 finely grate 1 tsp orange zest and squeeze 6 tbs juice from orange.
  • 3 cut bananas into 1/4" slices combine 1/2 of the sugar 1/3 or the butter and 1/2 of the rum in large frying pan.
  • 4 cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar has dissolved and mixture is starting to bubble.
  • 5 stir in bananas and toss until evenly coated.
  • 6 remove from heat.
  • 7 divide half of banana mixture among 4 1-cup ramekins.
  • 8 sprindle each with 1 tbs breadcrumbs.
  • 9 top with remaining banana mixture.
  • 10 spoon orange juice over each ramekin combine remaining breadcrumbs, sugar and butter with oats, orange zest and cinnamon, blending with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 11 sprinkle over bananas.
  • 12 bake until topping is crisp and golden, about 15 minutes.
  • 13 serve warm, topped with cream and sprinkled with nuts.

Margarita Chicken Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can green chilies (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons tequila (optional)
  • 4 cups rotini pasta (uncooked rainbow spiral pasta)
  • 1 lb chicken (cut in strips)
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) taco seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 (11 ounce) mexicorn (drained)
  • 1 (15 ounce) black beans (drained and rinsed)

Recipe

  • 1 cook pasta, till al dente, drain and rinse in cold water.
  • 2 in a zip-bag, combine chicken,taco seasoning, shake to coat.
  • 3 in a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat, add chicken and cook 8-10 minute remove from heat.
  • 4 in a large bowl combine cooked pasta, corn,beans and dressing, toss to coat.
  • 5 fold in chicken, serve warm or cold.
  • 6 pass tequila shots or very cold beer.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch kashmiri chili powder (the former is a bit milder) or 1 pinch cayenne (the former is a bit milder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sumac (to garnish)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 after draining the chickpeas well, put them all in a clean, large, cotton (non-terry) kitchen towel. very gently rub the chickpeas to loosen their skins. open the towel and discard all skins.
  • 2 process all ingredients except for the garnishes in a food processor or blender until smooth, about 40 seconds. you may need to stop and occasionally scrape down the sides of the vessel.
  • 3 transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.

  • 8 firm bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 lemon (juice of, and grated rind)
  • 2 oranges (juice of and grated rind)
  • 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark rum

Recipe

  • 1 add butter and rinds to a heavy skillet and melt over low heat, stirring well.
  • 2 add some of the sugar and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  • 3 add juices and continue cooking. add the remaining sugar and cook until it melts and blends with the other ingredients.
  • 4 add rum a little at a time and bring to a slow boil. peel the bananas and poach in the sauce turning frequently.
  • 5 cook about 5 minutes until they are tender but not mushy.

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed

  • 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 ounces green chilies, diced
  • 1 cup monterey jack pepper cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 cook the pasta, drain and rinse well with cold water.
  • 2 sprinkle the cubed chicken with the taco seasoning.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat.
  • 2 saute onion and garlic about 5 minutes, until tender.
  • 3 stir in oregano, thyme, cumin and cayenne.
  • 4 cook 1 minute.

  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, split in half and scraped (or 1 t. vanilla extract)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°.
  • 2 using a mortar and pestle, grind and crush the 1 teaspoon lavender.
  • 3 in a small bowl, combine the lavender and the water; set aside for 10 minutes.
  • 4 in a large bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
  • 5 add the 1/2 cup powdered sugar; beat until combined, scraping bowl occasionally.
  • 6 beat in lavender mixture and vanilla bean seeds.

  • 8 divide dough into 36 equal portions (each about 3 teaspoons of dough).

  • 1/2 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 cups shelled fresh fava beans or 2 cups fresh shelled soybeans
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 lb arugula, coarse stems discarded
  • 1/2 lb pecorino romano cheese
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1 cut asparagus stalk on a long diagonal into 1/8 inch slices, leaving 1 inch long tips.
  • 2 blanch asparagus tips only, not stalks, for 2 minutes.

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons 2% low-fat milk

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 melt the chocolate over hot water.

Fava Bean Salad (fool Meudane) Middle East, Palestine

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 ounce) can fava beans
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1 small tomato (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a frying pan, add the olive oil and garlic, stir for a minute or so to bring out flavor.
  • 2 peel the fava beans before adding them to the frying pan. this makes for a smoother dish.
  • 3 add the lemon juice and salt. mix together and cover for a minute or two.
  • 4 if you have a nice, ripe tomato, dice it small and add it to the frying pan. it gives a real nice flavor to the dish. if its not ripe, leave the tomato out.
  • 5 cover and let simmer for 2-3 minutes, mixing occasionaly.
  • 6 turn off the fire, and take a fork and smash all the ingredients together. you dont want to make it a smooth paste like hummous, but rather one with little "chunks" in it.
  • 7 garnish with parsley and olive oil. this is normally served with pita bread. enjoy!

Hummus Wraps Or Pockets

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 pieces pita bread
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (optional)
  • 1/2 cup hummus, prepared
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olive, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini pepper, sliced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika

Recipe

  • 1 soften pita bread by either brushing lightly with olive oil and warming on a griddle, or wrapping in foil and heating in the oven (or heat them in the microwave, but it's not recommended). the pita will have more flavor if you use the olive oil.
  • 2 spread a couple of tablespoons of hummus on each pita (or in the pocket, if that's the kind you're using).
  • 3 add the red onion, olives, cucumber and pepperoncini peppers.
  • 4 sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika.
  • 5 if you've got the larger pita, roll it up to serve.
  • 6 enjoy!
  • 7 feel free to play around with the amounts listed. i like the peppers a lot, some people may want to use less. you can also play around with the ingredients you use to fill this with. it's versatile and infinitely customizable. have fun!

Lavender Sugar With Vanilla

  • 4 tablespoons fresh lavender flowers
  • 1 vanilla bean (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 place a cup of sugar in each (1 cup) jar along with 1 tablespoon lavender and divide the vanilla bean among some or all the jars.
  • 2 alternate method:.
  • 3 i put one jar of the mix into the vita mix to grind up the lavender and powdered the sugar. (which is nice if you don`t want lavender buds in your baking. or to add to a cup of comforting tea.).
  • 4 let sit overnight.
  • 5 i did open in a couple hour and the aroma was just fabulous!

Fava Bean Mash/dip (vegan)

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4-1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander (or more)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups boiled fava beans

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil, add garlic, onion and cook for about 4 minutes.
  • 2 add tomato sauce, spices and salt, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • 3 add fava beans, and mash very well it on low heat.
  • 4 you can mash it finely or leave some fava beans whole.
  • 5 cover and cook for 5 more minutes.

  • 5 ounces almonds, ground
  • 4 egg yolks, hard boiled
  • 5 ounces caster sugar
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, ground to powder
  • 4 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 4 ounces caster sugar
  • 8 ounces apricot jam, sieved
  • 5 ounces caster sugar
  • 5 ounces apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 15 almond halves

  • 4 mix butter mixture, blended fruit, and eggs.

  • 6 half hour before you think it is done, bring a pot of water to boil and cook the pasta to al dente.
  • 7 drain and rinse to cut down on the starch in your soup.

  • combine beans, herbs, salt, pepper, cayenne, cumin, chili and lemon zest in food processor. blend  until moderately smooth.

  • heat vegetable oil in a pot to 375°f .
  • using 2 tablespoons, make oval dumplings (quenelles) from the mixture, and drop into hot oil. deep fry until turns dark golden brown.
  •  Remove excess oil by putting on paper towel and lightly sprinkle with salt. 
  •  stir together mint, yogurt, lemon juice, salt and pepper to make yogurt dipping/yogurt sauce  for falafel.

Jamaica Me Crazy Chili

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped red peppers (or both) or 2 1/2 cups yellow peppers (or both)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (hot if possible)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef over medium high heat in a large, deep frying pan.
  • 2 drain off fat and set aside.
  • 3 coat a large dutch oven with cooking spray and place over medium high heat.
  • 4 when pan is hot add the olive oil and cook the onion and garlic until the onion is tender, then add the peppers and cook until tender.
  • 5 season with the cumin, paprika, chili powder, sugar, salt and cloves.
  • 6 stir in the canned diced tomatoes, and the drained cans of beans.
  • 7 add water to cover all.
  • 8 bring to a boil and then stir in the meat and tomato paste.
  • 9 bring to a boil and then simmer 30 minutes.
  • 10 remove from the heat and stir in the vinegar.
  • 11 may serve with chopped fresh cilantro as decorative topping.

Hunan Smoked Ham Hock With Hot Black Bean Sauce

  • 2 lbs smoked ham hocks
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon fermented black beans
  • 1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch squares
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot red pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces

Recipe

  • 1 place ham hocks in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the meat easily separates from the bone with a fork.
  • 2 remove hocks from water, allow to cool, take off meat from the bones and slice into 1 inch slices.
  • 3 this step can be done well ahead.
  • 4 note: if using canadian bacon, picnic ham or smoked lamb shoulder you amy simmer in water until very tender or use as is without simmering.

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 lb fresh green beans

  • 5 slices lean smoked bacon, diced
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped spring onion

Recipe

  • 1 place the potatoes in a large saucepan of salted water, bring to the boil and cook for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  • 2 place the beans in a large saucepan, cover with cold water and season with salt. bring to the boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until just tender.
  • 3 meanwhile, heat the butter in a frying pan, add the bacon and fry for 5 minutes or until crisp, turning from time to time.
  • 4 add the wine vinegar to the frying pan and boil rapidly, scraping up any bits of bacon. continue to boil until reduced by 2/3rds.
  • 5 drain the cooked potatoes then peel them and cut them into slices.

  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar (may sub balsamic vinegar)

  • 1 cook the green beans in boiling salted water to cover 3 to 4 minutes, or until crisp tender. drain. plunge the beans into ice water to stop the cooking process; drain.

  • 6 green onions, bias cut
  • 2 1/2 ounces peanut oil

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons pepper picante sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 quarts chicken stock
  • 6 ounces cooked lamb, diced or 6 ounces diced raw shrimp

  • 2 ounces cornstarch
  • 6 ounces bean curd or 6 ounces tofu, cubed
  • 3 beaten eggs

Recipe

  • 1 mushroom, bamboo and green onion in peanut oil for 1 minute. remove from heat.
  • 2 add vinegar, pepper, soy sauce, sambol and sesame oil. reserve until ready to finish soup.
  • 3 add hot chicken stock, to reserved base mixture and bring to a boil. add lamb, shrimp and salt. simmer just for a minute.
  • 4 dissolve cornstarch in a little water and stir into soup. simmer a further 2 minutes to thicken.
  • 5 add bean curd and swirl soup while pouring in beaten egg. stop stirring and allow egg to set into streaks. do not stir again or reboil.

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 fresh chili pepper, seeded and minced
  • 3 green onions with tops, minced
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs, coarse
  • 1/2 cup beef stock or 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter or 10 tablespoons margarine, cut into bits
  • 1/4 cup water, ice-cold

Recipe

  • 1 to make the filling: in a medium skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
  • 2 add the beef, onion, garlic, chili pepper and scallions.
  • 3 saute, stirring constantly until the mixture gives off its moisture, about 8 minutes.
  • 4 add the remaining filling ingredients and simmer, stirring often, for 20 minutes. the filling should be moist but not wet. set aside to cool.
  • 5 to make the pastry: sift the flour, curry powder and salt into a large mixing bowl.
  • 6 mix in the butter and rub with your fingers until it is the consistency of cornmeal.
  • 7 add the ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough just holds together.
  • 8 cover, refrigerate for 1 hour. heat the oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 9 on a lightly floured board, roll out the pastry about 1/8-inch thick. using a 4-inch round cookie cutter, cut the pastry into disks.
  • 10 place 1 tablespoon of the filling slightly below the center of each round.
  • 11 fold over the pastry to form a half moon and seal the edges with the tines of a fork.
  • 12 place the patties on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • 13 bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
