Mustard Green Beans

Ingredients

- 1 lb green beans, washed and trimmed
- 1 -2 tablespoon unsalted butter or 1 -2 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard, plus
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 steam green beans for 6-8 minutes, or until tender.
- 2 melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. stir in mustard, salt , sugar (if using) and pepper. add cooked green beans to skillet and toss to coat.
