Crock Pot Corny Chili

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 cups pinto beans
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 cups water
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup frozen corn kernels
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups tomatoes, chopped
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients in crockpot with the exception of tomatoes.
- 2 let cook on high 6-7 hours.
- 3 after beans are thoroughly cooked, add the tomatoes and heat through.
- 4 season individual servings as desired. i like to sprinkle a little salt on top so i don't get as much sodium but still get a little salty taste.
- 5 serve with corn cakes.
