Homemade Hummus

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 medium garlic clove, pressed (about 1 teaspoon worth)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients in a food processor and process until well combined and smooth - about 45 seconds.
  • 2 place in a resealable container and refrigerate until cold. hummus is good for 2-3 days.
