Ingredients

- 1 lb black beans
- 6 -8 garlic cloves
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- salt
Recipe
- 1 in large kettle, cover beans with 2" water.
- 2 add garlic.
- 3 bring water to boil.
- 4 turn fire down to soft boil and cover.
- 5 cook 1 hour.
- 6 when beans are soft, add onions and salt and simmer 1/2 hour - 1 hour more.
