Ingredients

• 3 vanilla beans, cut into very small shreds
• 2 cups brandy

Recipe

• 1 put the vanilla shreds into a bottle with the brandy, and cork the bottle.
• 2 shake the bottle occasionally, and in the course of three months’ time the essence will be ready for use.
