Green Beans With Lemon Butter

Ingredients

- 1/2 tablespoon coarse salt
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces
- 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest (about 1 lemon)
- fresh ground pepper
Recipe
- 1 fill a medium saucepan 3/4 full of water and bring to a boil.
- 2 add salt and beans.
- 3 return to a boil and cook 4-5 minutes or they are crisp tender.
- 4 remove from heat and drain.
- 5 put back in pan and add butter and zest.
- 6 season with pepper and more salt if you need it.
