Green Beans With Grape Tomatoes

- 2 lbs fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, washed and halved
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leave
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook green beans in lightly salted boiling water for 8 minutes or until crisp-tender, drain. plunge beans into ice water to stop the cooking process. drain and set aside.
- 2 melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat 6-7 minutes or until butter begins to brown. add green beans and sauté until tender.
- 3 stir in grape tomatoes and remaining ingredients, serve immediately.
