Green Beans With Filberts

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 8 cups green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup filberts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, leaves only

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pot of boiling water, cook green beans until tender, about 5 minutes. drain and set aside.
  • 2 heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. add nuts and cook, stirring until golden, 1-3 minutes. add beans and the remaining ingredients, tossing well to coat. serve warm or at room temperature.
