- 8 cups green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup filberts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon thyme, leaves only
Recipe
- 1 in a large pot of boiling water, cook green beans until tender, about 5 minutes. drain and set aside.
- 2 heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. add nuts and cook, stirring until golden, 1-3 minutes. add beans and the remaining ingredients, tossing well to coat. serve warm or at room temperature.
