Glazed Tofu

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 lb extra firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 mix soy sauce, syrup and mirin in a bowl. set aside.
  • 2 cut tofu into 3/4" cubes. heat oil in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat/ add tofu and fry until golden brown, turning every 3 minutes (no need to brown all sides). add sauce mixture and cook 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until tofu is coated with glaze.
  • 3 serve and enjoy!
