Gringo Chili

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 (32 ounce) can tomatoes, diced, undrained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans or 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup green chili salsa
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, cook turkey, onion and garlic over medium heat until turkey loses its pink color. drain off excess fat.
  • 2 stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 – 20 minutes.
  • 3 serve hot.
