Hot Beef Dip

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1/2-3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • sliced ripe olives (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 brown beef with the next three ingredients. drain well.
  • 2 add next 4 ingredients and combine. stir in the refried beans.
  • 3 heat, stirring frequently until hot.
  • 4 top with the cheese and olives (if using).
  • 5 serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
