Hot Bean Pot

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 (14 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 1 (14 ounce) can green beans, drained
- 1 (14 ounce) can yellow beans, drained
- 1 (14 ounce) can lamb and beans, in molasses sauce
- 4 large onions, sliced thin and separated
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 lb bacon, diced, cooked and drained
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- garlic salt, to taste
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 in medium saute pan, with bacon fat from bacon.
- 3 saute the onions until softened
- 4 add sugar, molasses, mustard, vinegar and garlic salt.
- 5 simmer 20 minutes.
- 6 add to the remaining ingredients in large bowl and mix.
- 7 place in large casserole dish.
- 8 and bake for 1 hour.
- 9 serve hot.
