Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups canned fava beans
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 1.) fry the onions until golden; add the garlic and cook until soft.
- 2 2.) add the diced tomato, fava beans, and spices. juice the lemon into the frying pan and cook through until hot.
- 3 3.) serve with warm pita.
