Lentils Esau

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 lb red lentil, washed and picked over
  • 1 quart water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed
  • salt (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 place lentils and water in a large pot.
  • 2 bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
