Hummus

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 30 ounces chickpeas (save the juice)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame tahini
  • 1 head garlic, whole
  • 4 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika

Recipe

  • 1 pour chickpeas into a blender.
  • 2 add about 1 tbsp sesame tahini.
  • 3 add garlic.
  • 4 add yoghurt.
  • 5 add lemon juice.
  • 6 add olive oil.
  • 7 blend till a creamy consistency. if it looks too thick, add some of the juice from the can of chickpeas.
  • 8 add salt & pepper to taste.
  • 9 present hummus on a flat dish and drizzle some olive oil and paprika.
