Havana Bananas

Total Time: 9 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 just ripe bananas (no green at all on skin)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of frangelico your favorite liqueur (hazelnut liquer)
  • 1 tablespoon light rum

Recipe

  • 1 heat butter in a skillet to foaming.
  • 2 add 1/4" thick banana rounds and toss to coat.
  • 3 add brown sugar and toss till dissolved.
  • 4 add frangelico and rum.
  • 5 toss all till a nice coating on bananas develops.
  • 6 serve hot on top of your favorite pie or ice cream.
