Maple Bean Bake

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 45 ounces beans, rinsed and drained (any combination of navy, great northern & cannellini)
  • 14 ounces vegetarian baked beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 in a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook onion and garlic in oil until tender.
  • 3 in 1 1/2 quart glass baking dish, combine onion mixture with remaining ingredients.
  • 4 cover and bake for 1 hour or until bubbly.
