Espresso Chipotle Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 cups chicken stock
- 2 roma tomatoes, cut in half
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 1/2 cups tomato juice
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup espresso beans
- 3 chipotle chiles in adobo
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 add all the ingredients to a sauce pan on high heat and bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer until reduced by about half and then strain.
