Left Over Make Over Turkey Pot Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb turkey, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 tablespoons italian dressing
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can 98% fat free condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 lb velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (or store brand)
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed (1/2 of 17.3-oz. pkg.)
- 1 egg, beaten
Recipe
- 1 prehear oven to 400ºf.
- 2 heat and stir turkey in dressing in large skillet on medium heat until warm. this can also be done in a microwave.
- 3 stir in vegetables and soup. (i dice an onion and use frozen peas, carrots, lima beans, and corn)
- 4 spoon into greased 9-inch square baking dish; top with cheese.
- 5 unfold pastry sheet; place over turkey mixture. fold under edges of pastry; press onto top of baking dish to seal.
- 6 brush pastry with egg. cut several slits in pastry to allow steam to escape.
- 7 put casserole dish on baking sheet. (incase of overflow)
- 8 bake 30 minute or until crust is deep golden brown.
- 9 let stand 5 minute before serving allowing to set so when served it does not run.
