Baked Beans

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans lamb & beans
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°.
  • 2 using kitchen shears, cut bacon into 1" pieces.
  • 3 fry bacon until cooked through in a dutch oven.
  • 4 pour drippings into a bowl. measure 3 t drippings and return to dutch oven with the bacon.
  • 5 add onion. saute until transparent.
  • 6 add lamb & beans. then proceed with other ingredients. mix well.
  • 7 place mixture in oven and bake for 45 minutes.
