Cuban Baked Bananas

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 large ripe bananas, peeled
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sherry wine, medium-dry

Recipe

  • 1 melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. add the bananas. cook until browned on both sides.
  • 2 combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. sprinkle over the bananas. stir in the sherry. simmer, covered, for 4 minutes or until the bananas are tender. serve with/on vanilla bean ice cream.
