Never-fail Chili Con Carneo

Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 28 ounces chopped tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup kidney bean, cooked
- 1 cup navy beans, cooked
- 1 cup pinto beans, cooked
Recipe
- 1 heat the oil in a large chili pot on medium-high heat.
- 2 add the garlic and onion, cook until browned.
- 3 add the meat and brown.
- 4 add spices and blend.
- 5 add tomatoes and beans. stir well and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring every few moments. if the chili is too think, add some water.
- 6 lower heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes. this chili is even yummier if you simmer it for a few hours on the lowest heat.
- 7 serve with sour cream, shredded cheese, corn chips, cornbread, or anything you like with chili!
