Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 5 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 lb dry lentils (we like the red)
- 1 lb tomato
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Recipe
- 1 add salt to water and heat to boiling. add the lentils and simmer for 30 minutes. do not drain!
- 2 add everything else and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
