Frans Beans

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 350 g frans beans, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed (zeera)
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 3 pieces green chili peppers, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons green coriander (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 steam the beans till tender. mix in butter while still hot.
  • 2 dry roast zeera in pan till it splutters, add beans, coriander powder, garam masala, green chili and salt. mix well stir over low heat.
  • 3 serve in a flat dish. sprinkle lemon juice over it. garnish with coriander leaves.
