Kale Hummus

Ingredients
- 4 cups kale
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup or 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
- 5 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Recipe
- 1 trim all tough stems from kale and roughly chop.
- 2 place the kale in a food processor or blender and pulse until pureed.
- 3 add the remaining ingredients through hot sauce if used and blend, reserving 1 tbsp olive oil for dressing the finished hummus.
- 4 dust with paprika if desired and serve with chips.
