Hot Vanilla

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 14 ounces whole milk
  • 2 ounces whipping cream
  • 1/2 vanilla bean
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 in a heavy saucepan, combine the ingredients and warm over low heat.
  • 2 when small bubbles appear around the sides of the pan, remove it from the heat and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes.
