Homemade Falafel

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients in except olive oil in a food processor and process until a paste is formed.
  • 2 heat oil over med-high heat.
  • 3 drop paste by rounded tablespoon into heat oil and flatten. fry until golden brown on both sides.
